Our house is now for sale on Craigslist

We are laying out the necessary ground work to build an energy efficient home. Our first step is to sell our existing home. It is a sweet house in the University district of Missoula, built in 1936. We have lived in it for six years. Most people who see it tend to fall in love with it - we too, very much like it, and have some ambivalence about selling. It has hardwood floors throughout, a vintage Merrit and Keefe gas stove that works beautifully, artisan light fixtures, intricate tile work in the bathrooms, a gigantic maple tree that shades the generous backyard, and a mortis and tenon pergola that my husband Peter made. Also has a heated, insulated detached workshop that has functioned nicely as my studio. But, the idea of building a home to our specifications, using green building techniques, is quite attractive. In order to show what our house looks like to potential buyers, we put up a website on google. Our plan is to keep our house on Craigslist through mid July, then list it with a realtor.
